Day of Service Volunteer Opportunity + Happy Hour

Start 2026 with intention, service, and community. Join TriWiSTEM for a two-part experience honoring the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through service, followed by a happy hour to connect and celebrate the year ahead. Join us for one or both. All are welcome.

Part 1: Day of Service

Where: Durham Rescue Mission Thrift Store (Chapel Hill Road, Durham)
When: 2:00–5:00 PM
What: We’ll spend the afternoon giving back at the Durham Rescue Mission Thrift Store in the spirit of Dr. King’s legacy of service and collective care. Volunteer activities will be coordinated onsite.

Part 2: 2026 Happy Hour

Where: Lakewood Social
When: 5:30–8:00 PM
What: Join us for casual conversation, connection, and celebration as we toast to the year ahead. Whether you’re coming from the service event or meeting us for happy hour, we’d love to see you.

Join us for one or both — we’re excited to kick off 2026 together in service and community.
