PROFESSIONAL WOMEN
The Professional Women Action Team centers on fostering and bridging connections among women in the Triangle area. We are committed to curating a diverse range of professional avenues for women in STEM, facilitating opportunities for networking and career growth within the Triangle community. We also feature tailored initiatives for those at the beginning of their careers and budding leaders.
COLLEGE STUDENTS
The College Students Action Team focuses on women in STEM majors from undergraduate through graduate school, postdocs, and community college students. Our goal is to foster a sense of community during the collegiate years and prepare students to apply their STEM field education and experience to the workplace.
STEM PIPELINE (K-12 Students)
The STEM Pipeline Action Team engages and inspires K-12 students to be the next generation of young leaders in STEM. We provide hands-on STEM workshops and activities, and mentoring opportunities for students to meet and learn from professional women in STEM careers. In addition, we forge collaborative partnerships with organizations focused on K-12 girls to broaden our reach in order to impact as many students as possible.
